Saxophonist Volker Jung, pianist Pascal Ohlmann, bassist Wolfgang Ost and drummer Michael Benner-Bickelmann found each other in the Minor Art Ensemble after many years working alongside each other in various constellations. Emanating from Pascal Ohlmann’s, the four instrumentalists enter into a nuanced musical dialogue: lyrical lines and transparent sound landscapes and powerful dynamics, asymmetrical structures and free forms combine to an extremely self-contained form of modern music.
