In the 1930s Raymond Scott ”The man who made cartoons swing”, created timeless masterpieces. His melodies were the fundaments for Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Roadrunner. The Stefan Scheib’s quartet beams Scott’s music back into the here and now. Its swings and rocks, fast cut tempo changes, improvised intermezzi, samples and grooves reveal just how timeless Scott’s music actually is.
