The Celts Druids. Princes. Warriors. The life of the Celts during the Iron Age
The Celts were the first to dominate Europe; their domain was today’s Saar-Lor-Lux region. The exhibition shows, for the first time, a cross section of the unimaginably rich princes’ graves of Central Europe and at the most important site of industrial iron production brings most the beginnings of the iron age most vividly to life. The Celts are surrounded by a veil of mystery and the mystical. Many people know Celtic culture through the Asterix and Obelix comic books. The Celts were the first to perfect the forging of iron. New weapons and tools were created. |
