4th UrbanArt! Biennale® 2017

The leading global urban art biennale at one of the world’s most fascinating locations: The UrbanArt Biennale® at the World Cultural Heritage Site Völklinger Ironworks exhibits urban art from all continents across a space measuring 100,000 m2. It presents 100 artists with 150 artworks from 17 contires and 4 continents. It’s the largest urban art exhibition in the world. The World Cultural Heritage Site Völklinger Ironworks, which has been hosting the UrbanArt Biennale® since 2011, will present its fourth major exhibition of works exemplifying the 21st-century art form that emerged from graffiti.

The main exhibition hall will be the 10,000-m2 Burden Hall. In addition, international artists have created site-specific installations especially for the Völklinger Ironworks.

UrbanArt Biennale® 2017 will focus on works from South America, but it will also present current trends in interventional urban art 2.0.
