07 Grave of the Prince of Weiskirchen (D)

Weiskirchen

The magnificent find of the three Celtic princely graves of Weiskirchen numbers amongst the most well-known Celtic highlights in the world. The priceless find of artistic, handmade jewellery was discovered as early as 1850. The finds of Etruscan imports as well as discoveries of Celtic gold reveal evidence of the prosperity of their Treviri owners and the Celtic craftsman’s great talents. One can marvel at a highly valuable copy of the impressive assembly of finds nowadays on display at the “Haus des Gastes” in the beautiful countryside surroundings of the spa town of Weiskirchen.
